Kellenberger Library
The Edward P. Kellenberger Library first opened its doors in 1895 with the establishment of Eugene Divinity School. The present library building opened in 1957 and was remodeled in 1995. It is the physical home to over 60,000 print books on three floors and provides a comfortable space for research and study.
Online resources such as eBooks, e-Journals, and research databases are available through our website.
The Archives houses historical materials relating to the university and its Christian Church/Disciples of Christ heritage.
Special collections include rare Bibles including the William E. Paul collection of English-language Bibles, rare hymnals, the Kendall collection of children’s literature.

Academic Year Hours
We will be closed for Winter Break Friday, December 13th, 2024 at 5:00pm until Monday, January 13th 2025 at 8:00am.
Monday through Thursday – 8:00AM to 12:00AM*
Friday – 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Saturday – 1:00PM to 9:00PM
Sunday – 3:00PM to 12:00AM
*The library closes for chapel on Tuesdays from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.
Exceptions including Holidays, Spring, Summer, and Winter Break hours will be posted here.
