Study Abroad Update for Summer 2021
To ensure the safety and well-being of Bushnell students and faculty, Summer 2021 Faculty Led Study Abroad programs will be postponed to Summer 2022*. This decision comes after close monitoring of the progression of the COVID-19 global pandemic in the US and in study abroad host nations, as well as consideration of evolving travel restrictions and uncertainties. Some of our partnering organizations are still planning to offer programs in-person or virtually in 2021*, and information about those opportunities can be obtained by contacting your academic advisor, Bushnell Global Ambassador Robbie McGowen, or Chair of Global Programs Dr. Tim Veach. We hope that students continue to pursue life activities on a global scale, and we are excited to share updates about 2022 study abroad programs – coming soon!
* there may be some adjustment of study abroad destination countries due to specific program availability
As a part of the larger global community, Bushnell University provides our students with dynamic opportunities to experience the world through global programs and study abroad. Aside from providing a great travel experience, participation in global programs can produce significant returns on your investment for your academic, personal, and professional life.

Students from our partner universities around the world visit Bushnell University in the summer to improve their English language skills and enjoy a life-changing cultural experience. This program is for international students currently enrolled in high school or university outside of the USA.
Many students don’t pursue studying abroad because they assume the cost is too high. However, finances do not need to be a barrier. With a wide array of help available, many students have studied abroad for the same cost or less than a semester at Bushnell University.
