Parents

Your student is welcome here. He or she will be among friends, mentored by a caring faculty and staff, and will be given the opportunity to discover and grow within the context of a Christ-centered community.

As a parent, you want to feel informed, up-to-date and ready for anything. We aim to deliver. Below is an updated academic calendar, department contact information, a map of campus and more. So, what should you know about Bushnell University? We are an affordable Christian university located in the heart of a true college town, Eugene, OR. And it is here that over 800 of students come to learn, grow and discover in an environment that champions wisdom, faith and service, providing graduates with superb career preparation. You should also know that Bushnell University does not live within a bubble. We take students out to see the real world through our formal internship programs, campus programs, athletics, ministry and more. Eugene and the surrounding area is an incredible place to share God’s grace and the love of Christ with others.

Things every parent should know

Is your student participating in Orientation? Are you a parent of a first-time college student? If you have questions or worries, maybe we can help. If you are attending Orientation as a parent or family member, we have a special schedule just for you! We also have compiled a list of help hints for parents of first-time college students.

Family Weekend

We invite you to join your student on campus to spend a day in classrooms, attend Beacon Night, meet professors and staff, tailgaters, athletic games and much more!  Family Weekend is designed to give you a glimpse of your student’s day to day life as a Beacon.  Join us this year on October 9-10 for a fun-filled event!
