Adjunct Nursing Faculty

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach primarily in the University’s new Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing (ABSN) pre-licensure program. Administrative Assistant for Teacher Education and Psychology & Counseling

The Administrative Assistant position reports directly to the Associate Dean of Teacher Education and supports both the School of Education and the School of Psychology and Counseling. The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to the respective deans, faculty, and staff of both of these departments, as directed by the dean(s). Primary responsibilities include a wide variety of clerical duties that support and enhance department functions and operations.

Admissions Counselor for Online Undergraduate & Graduate Programs in Nursing

The Admission Counselor for online undergraduate and graduate programs is responsible for recruiting and on-boarding prospective students to Bushnell. Admission Counselors are assigned recruitment, marketing and outreach responsibilities geared towards specific academic programs. This position is responsible for recruitment into the Online RN to BSN program, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and graduate degrees/certificate programs within Bushnell’s School of Nursing.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Under the direction of the Athletic Director and/or Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer position is responsible for coordinating and administering the delivery of sports medicine services to all student-athletes including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries, education and counseling of student-athletes, and athletics related health care administration in consultation with the team Physician. Additional responsibilities include administrative duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director.

Assistant Director of Financial Aid

The Assistant Director of Financial Aid assists the Director of Financial Aid in the administration of institutional, state, and federal financial aid programs for students pursuing the University’s undergraduate programs. The Assistant Director position is also responsible for the management of the Financial Aid PowerFAIDS system and data integration functions between Bushnell’s Student Information System and the required reporting entities. This position is a part of a collaborative team within the University’s Enrollment and Finance divisions supporting strategic enrollment goals and initiatives. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential to this position.

Associate Director of Admission (Undergraduate)

The Associate Director of Admission oversees the day-to-day operations of undergraduate admission. In collaboration with the Dean of Admission, this position implements the recruitment strategy for our incoming freshmen and transfer students including: Travel and outreach plan, visit and events, inquiry development, and student staff. The Associate Director of Admission assists with the digital communication efforts including but not limited to: website, marketing materials and electronic correspondence for incoming students and families. As a leader on the admission team, the Associate Director assists with enrollment growth and supports the Dean of Admission with departmental and divisional strategic goals.

Counseling Clinic Manager and Field Experience Coordinator

This full-time position combines two major roles of The Counseling Clinic Management and Student Clinical Field Experience Coordination. The Clinic Manager oversees Bushnell’s mental health clinic which serves Bushnell students, UO students, Eugene citizens, and citizens from the surrounding communities. As an effective CMHC program team member, the Clinical Field Experience Coordinator’s role is to help create and coordinate all CMHC student Internship and Practicum placements.

Dean of Nursing

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for the Dean of Nursing. This position has a negotiable start date. Job duties include, but are not limited to: oversight of all nursing programs at Bushnell University; providing leadership and vision for the School of Nursing; oversight of program assessment, review, and national accreditation; and to ensure compliance with institutional assessment standards.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students serves as a primary administrative contact and advocate for students in undergraduate, online-undergraduate, and graduate programs with the charge to provide services and programs that enhance the overall student experience at Bushnell.

Under the direction of the President, the Dean of Students shall serve as the institution’s chief student development/judicial officer and Title IX Coordinator and plan, organize, and provide direct leadership to comprehensive student development programs including: Athletics and Student Life (Campus Ministry, Residence Life, Student Programs, Counseling and Wellness, Campus Dining, Beacon Beanery, and Security).

Faculty Position: Psychology

The person serving in this position will teach traditional daytime and evening/online undergraduate courses. Daytime courses are face-to-face in a 16-week semester. Evening and on-line courses are delivered in eight-week blocks. The psychology major emphasizes building a strong foundation in psychological science with an integration of faith and learning. The normal teaching load is 24 semester credits per academic year. Effective pedagogical, interpersonal, and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.

Faculty Position: Teacher Education

The successful candidate for this faculty position must show commitment and demonstrable ability to be an excellent teacher. The person in this position will teach assigned courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs and will provide quality instruction in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modes of delivery. In addition, the candidate will engage in service activities related to the University and to the professional community. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position. Financial Aid Counselor (Undergraduate)

The Financial Aid Counselor assists the Director of Financial Aid in the administration of institutional, state, and federal financial aid programs for students pursuing the University’s undergraduate programs. The Financial Aid Counselor position also meets with and counsels prospective students and their families on affordability, financial aid processes, and award specifics. This position is a part of a collaborative team within the University’s Enrollment and Finance divisions supporting strategic enrollment goals and initiatives. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential to this position.

Office Manager for Enrollment

This position will report to the Dean of Admission and assists with the daily operations of the Admission and Marketing departments. The primary roles of the position are to welcome guests, answer the main line to the University, perform extensive data entry within CRM, organize and facilitate communication to prospective students, and import/export data to internal and external parties. This position requires the frequent exercise of independent judgment within the assigned areas of responsibility, with the latitude for initiating action on behalf of the Dean of Admission. Strong communication, organization, typing, attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to handle multiple tasks are essential to this position.

Office Manager for Student Life

The Office Manager for Student Life position reports to the Dean of Students and assists with the daily operations of Student Life (Campus Ministry, Residence Life, Student Programs, Intramurals, Campus Dining, Student Conduct, Campus Dining, Wellness Programs, Student Government/ASBU and Security). 

The primary role of the position is to welcome guests; perform complex secretarial, administrative and technical assistance functions on behalf of the Dean of Students, Director of Residence Life, Campus Pastor, and Director of Student Programs as detailed below.  This position will require effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

Teacher Education Field Supervisor for PE, SPED, ESOL, and Elementary Practicums

The successful candidate for this position must show commitment and have experience as an excellent teacher or school counselor. The person in this position will mentor, coach and evaluate teacher candidates that are doing practicums out in schools. Bushnell Field Supervisors will also participate in informational meetings on campus approximately once a semester. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.
