The Office Manager for Student Life position reports to the Dean of Students & Director of Residence Life and assists with the daily operations of Student Life (Campus Ministry, Residence Life, Student Programs, Intramurals, Campus Dining, Student Conduct, Campus Dining, Wellness, and Security).
The primary role of the position is to welcome guests; perform complex secretarial, administrative and technical assistance functions on behalf of the Dean of Students & Director of Residence Life, Campus Pastor, and Director of Student Programs; facilitate incoming and outgoing mail for the University; manage calendars; organize and facilitate mailings; manage and control the release of sensitive information; and exercise frequent independent judgment within the assigned areas of responsibility. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, typing, the ability to handle multiple tasks, confidentiality, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong technical skills are essential to this position. This position will require effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
