Adjunct Nursing Faculty

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach primarily in the University’s new Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing (ABSN) pre-licensure program. Candidates for on-campus teaching or clinical position(s) will have a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity and vibrant, maturing Christian faith.

Faculty needed immediately to teach the following courses:

Mental Health Clinical
Nursing Care and Management of the Chronically Ill (Theory)

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Under the direction of the Athletic Director and/or Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer position is responsible for coordinating and administering the delivery of sports medicine services to all student-athletes including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries, education and counseling of student-athletes, and athletics related health care administration in consultation with the team Physician. Additional responsibilities include administrative duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director.

Data & Reporting Specialist

The Data & Reporting Specialist is responsible for pulling data from SQL databases and other data sources for the purpose of creating reports. Working to meet the needs of multiple departments, this position will work with end users to determine report parameters and provide suggestions for where data points may be found or calculated.

Dean of Business, Leadership, and Technology

The Dean of Business, Leadership & Technology reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and supervises academic affairs within the SBLT relating to the development, implementation, and evaluative review of the curriculum and to the recruitment, orientation, support, and evaluation of departmental faculty and staff.

The Dean identifies and cultivates key external relationships in the local business community and beyond to create effective partnerships and networks. The Dean collaborates with the Dean of Admissions in student recruitment efforts and leads retention initiatives for all programs in the department (including Daytime UG, Online/Evening UG, MBA, MAL).

As time permits and in consultation with the VPAA, the Dean may carry a teaching load of up to 12 credits per academic year. The Dean serves in an entrepreneurial role in assisting the VPAA to identify, research, and develop opportunities for strategic and sustainable enrollment growth and program development, both for new and existing programs. The Dean is a member of the VPAA’s Dean’s Cabinet.

Director of Marketing & Digital Communication

Under the direction of the Vice President for Enrollment & Student Development, the Director of Marketing & Digital Communication is responsible for the design, creation, coordination, development and maintenance of content for the University’s online communication and print collateral that support, promote and enhance the overall mission, brand and image of Bushnell University.

As an enrollment officer and member of the Enrollment & Student Development Core Leadership Team, the Director of Marketing & Digital Communication supports the Vice President for Enrollment & Student Development and the Dean of Admission with university, divisional, and departmental strategic goals in an effort to grow enrollment and better tell the Bushnell story.

Faculty Position: Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing Program

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for nursing faculty to teach primarily in the University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing program. This on-campus position has a negotiable start date.

Faculty needed immediately to teach the following courses:

Faculty Position: Accounting

The Accounting Faculty will teach traditional daytime (TUG), adult degree (ADP) undergraduate courses and online graduate courses as needed. TUG courses are face-to-face in a 16 week semester. ADP and graduate courses are offered as on-line courses delivered in eight week blocks.

Faculty Position: Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC)

The faculty position in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) will be a “core” CMHC faculty member in a dynamic team of Counseling Faculty. The candidate must possess a strong counselor identity. Additionally, the candidate must have a high degree of expertise teaching CACREP Accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling coursework. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration with CMHC faculty and staff members (i.e., team player) and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.

Faculty Position: Psychology

The person serving in this position will teach traditional daytime (TUG) and adult degree (Online) undergraduate courses as needed. This position may also teach courses in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) graduate program. TUG courses are face-to-face in a 16 week semester. Online and CMHC courses are offered as evening and on-line courses delivered in eight week blocks. The psychology major emphasizes building a strong foundation in psychological science with an integration of faith and learning. The normal teaching load is 24 semester credits per academic year. The person will also provide leadership to the robust psychology program. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.

Faculty Position: Teacher Education

The successful candidate for this faculty position must show commitment and demonstrable ability to be an excellent teacher. The person in this position will teach assigned courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs and will provide quality instruction in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modes of delivery. In addition, the candidate will engage in service activities related to the University and to the professional community. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position. Head Softball Coach

Under the direction of the Athletic Director, coach, plan, organize, recruit for, and coordinate the Bushnell University Softball Program.

Help Desk Technician 1

The Help Desk Technician 1 is the front-line support for IT services. This person must maintain a courteous, professional, and customer service-oriented attitude at all times.

This position is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting computer support problems and applying an understanding of computer software and hardware products and services in order to resolve user problems. The person in this position must have the ability to research solutions on their own.

Office Manager for VP for Enrollment & Student Development and the Department of Athletics

The Office Manager position reports to the Vice President for Enrollment & Student Development and provides direct administrative support to the VP for Enrollment & Student Development, Athletic Director, and Associate Athletic Director. The primary role of the position is to welcome guests; perform complex secretarial, administrative and technical assistance functions; manage calendars; provide and coordinate event support; produce reports and departmental correspondence, liaise with other departments across the campus as required, and provide support to the Division of Enrollment and Student Development and the Athletic Department.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong technical skills are essential to the administrative assistant position. The position requires effective interpersonal skills along with the ability to work both individually and as a part of a team. Due to the nature of the position, a high level of confidentiality is required at times.

Public Affairs Specialist

The Public Affairs Specialist will represent the University in the wider community in ways that enhance advancement and admissions goals while fostering credibility and overall reputation.

Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Assistant Vice-President (AVP) for Financial Services, the Senior Accountant will provide support to various operating groups. This support will be instrumental in ensuring strong and accurate accounting records and in meeting compliance requirements. The Senior Accountant will have frequent in-person, telephone, and written contact with management and other Bushnell employees for the purpose of exchanging information, addressing procedural questions, collecting data, making recommendations, clarifying procedures, securing approvals, and problem solving.

Teacher Education Field Supervisor for PE, SPED, ESOL, and Elementary Practicums

The successful candidate for this position must show commitment and have experience as an excellent teacher or school counselor. The person in this position will mentor, coach and evaluate teacher candidates that are doing practicums out in schools. Bushnell Field Supervisors will also participate in informational meetings on campus approximately once a semester.
