Adjunct Nursing Faculty

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach primarily in the University’s new Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing (ABSN) pre-licensure program. Admissions Counselor – Online Undergraduate & Graduate Programs

The Admission Counselor for online undergraduate and graduate programs is responsible for recruiting and on-boarding prospective students to Bushnell. Admission Counselors are assigned recruitment, marketing and outreach responsibilities geared towards specific academic programs. This position is responsible for recruitment into the online undergraduate and graduate programs housed within the School of Business Leadership & Technology including but not limited to: accounting, business, IDS, MBA, Master of Arts in Leadership, and Master of Arts in Sports Management.

Assistant Athletic Trainer (Full-Time)

Under the direction of the Athletic Director and/or Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer position is responsible for coordinating and administering the delivery of sports medicine services to all student-athletes including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries, education and counseling of student-athletes, and athletics related health care administration in consultation with the team Physician. Additional responsibilities include administrative duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director.

Career Development Coordinator

The primary role of the Career Development Coordinator is to coordinate and manage career development services and undergraduate internship program, including developing strategic partnerships with local businesses/organizations to enhance the internship program and employment opportunities for all student populations. The Career Development Coordinator also serves students in individual coaching appointments and group presentations/workshops to empower and equip them with the skills to achieve their professional goals. The Career Development Coordinator collaborates with the Dean to coordinate events and deliver services. This position is a part of a fast-paced, collaborative team within the Center for Career and Academic Resources that provides services to support academic success and career development.

Dean of Nursing

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for the Dean of Nursing. This position has a negotiable start date. Job duties include, but are not limited to: oversight of all nursing programs at Bushnell University; providing leadership and vision for the School of Nursing; oversight of program assessment, review, and national accreditation; and to ensure compliance with institutional assessment standards.

Director of Facilities

The Director of Facilities is responsible for maintaining an excellent campus environment that is well maintained, safe, carefully planned, and meets the needs of faculty, staff and students. This position oversees maintenance, grounds, and custodial operations achieve these goals while operating within a defined budget.

Director of Information Technology

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Finance & Administration, the Director of Information Technology is responsible for information technology throughout the organization, and for all facets of information technology management and control, including planning, supervision of information technology employees; budget preparation and management; recommendations for technical acquisitions; and development of guidelines, standards and procedures. Coordinates technology projects to ensure project and campus goals are accomplished. Researches and implements security best-practices appropriate for our environment. Directs the work of all IT staff.

Faculty Position: Counseling (.6FTE)

The faculty position in Counseling will be a “core” CMHC faculty member in a dynamic team of Counseling Faculty.  The candidate must possess a strong counselor identity. Additionally, the candidate must have a high degree of expertise teaching CACREP Accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling coursework. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration with CMHC faculty and staff members (i.e., team player) and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.  Position requires a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.

Faculty Position: Counseling (Online Instruction)

The faculty position in Counseling will be a “core” CMHC faculty member in a dynamic team of Counseling Faculty and will teach online (synchronously).  The candidate must possess a strong counselor identity and online pedagogical skills. Additionally, the candidate must have a high degree of expertise teaching CACREP Accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling coursework. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration with CMHC faculty and staff members (i.e., team player) and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.  Position requires a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.

Faculty Position: Nursing (Accelerated Baccalaureate Nursing Program)

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for nursing faculty to teach primarily in the University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing program.  This on-campus position has a negotiable start date.

Faculty Position: Psychology

The person serving in this position will teach traditional daytime and evening/online undergraduate courses. Daytime courses are face-to-face in a 16-week semester. Evening and on-line courses are delivered in eight-week blocks. The psychology major emphasizes building a strong foundation in psychological science with an integration of faith and learning. The normal teaching load is 24 semester credits per academic year. Effective pedagogical, interpersonal, and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.

Financial Aid Counselor (Part-Time)

The Financial Aid Counselor assists the Director of Financial Aid in the administration of institutional, state, and federal financial aid programs for students pursuing the University’s undergraduate programs. The Financial Aid Counselor position also meets with and counsels prospective students and their families on affordability, financial aid processes, and award specifics. This position is a part of a collaborative team within the University’s Enrollment and Finance divisions supporting strategic enrollment goals and initiatives. Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential to this position.

Instructional Technology Specialist

This position serves to ensure effective faculty preparation in online course delivery, quality of technology-assisted pedagogy, and, ultimately, student satisfaction and retention. The Instructional Technology Specialist will provide direct support and training to faculty and adjunct instructors for online and in-person learning technologies, including the university LMS (learning management system). This position requires strong cross-departmental collaboration.

IT Help Desk Technician 1

Help Desk Technician 1 is the front-line support for IT services.  This person must maintain a courteous, professional, and customer service-oriented attitude at all times. 

This position is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting computer support problems and applying an understanding of computer software and hardware products and services in order to resolve user problems. The person in this position must have the ability to research solutions on their own. 

Resident Director & Coordinator for Student Life

Under the supervision of the Director of Residence Life & Student Services, the Resident Director & Coordinator for Student Life is a full-time, live-in position and is responsible for creating and developing an effective and supportive living-learning environment within Bushnell University’s residence halls.

Teacher Education Field Supervisor for PE, SPED, ESOL, and Elementary Practicums

The successful candidate for this position must show commitment and have experience as an excellent teacher or school counselor. The person in this position will mentor, coach and evaluate teacher candidates that are doing practicums out in schools. Bushnell Field Supervisors will also participate in informational meetings on campus approximately once a semester. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.
