Coordinates activities of technology projects to ensure project goals are accomplished. Customarily and regularly directs the work of all IT staff.
The Associate Dean of Education at Bushnell University oversees the Teacher Education programs and is a member of a dynamic group of Teacher Education faculty team. The Associate Dean must possess effective interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong leadership and administration skills. The Associate Dean of Education must be knowledgeable about Oregon State and Federal Education laws, accreditation standards, policies, and best practices. The Cashier supports the daily operations of the Business Office including cashiering, Business Office reception, answering and transferring phone calls, and answering students’ questions relating to their accounts, payments, financial aid, and other various business operations payments received by this office.
The Accounting Faculty will teach traditional daytime (TUG), adult degree (ADP) undergraduate courses and online graduate courses as needed. TUG courses are face-to-face in a 16 week semester. ADP and graduate courses are offered as on-line courses delivered in eight week blocks.
The Computer Science: Software Engineering faculty position will teach assigned courses in the Bachelors of Science, Software Engineering program. The program provides quality instruction in face to face day time delivery.
The faculty position in Counseling will be a “core” CMHC faculty member in a dynamic team of Counseling Faculty. The candidate must possess a strong counselor identity. Additionally, the candidate must have a high degree of expertise teaching CACREP Accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling coursework.
This position serves to ensure effective faculty preparation in online course delivery, quality of technology-assisted pedagogy, and, ultimately, student satisfaction and retention. The Instructional Technology Specialist will provide direct support and training to faculty and adjunct instructors for online and in-person learning technologies, including the university LMS (learning management system). This position is a cross-departmental collaboration.
The successful candidate for this position must show commitment and have experience as an excellent teacher or school counselor. The person in this position will mentor, coach and evaluate teacher candidates that are doing practicums out in schools. Bushnell Field Supervisors will also participate in informational meetings on campus approximately once a semester.
