Responsible for providing ongoing database and administrative support for the Office of Advancement.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Under the direction of the Athletic Director and/or Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer position is responsible for coordinating and administering the delivery of sports medicine services to all student-athletes including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries, education and counseling of student-athletes, and athletics related health care administration in consultation with the team Physician. Additional responsibilities include administrative duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director.

Dean of Nursing

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for the Dean of Nursing. This position has a negotiable start date. Job duties include, but are not limited to: oversight of all nursing programs at Bushnell University; providing leadership and vision for the School of Nursing; oversight of program assessment, review, and national accreditation; and to ensure compliance with institutional assessment standards.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students serves as a primary administrative contact and advocate for students in undergraduate, online-undergraduate, and graduate programs with the charge to provide services and programs that enhance the overall student experience at Bushnell.

Under the direction of the President, the Dean of Students shall serve as the institution’s chief student development/judicial officer and Title IX Coordinator and plan, organize, and provide direct leadership to comprehensive student development programs including: Athletics and Student Life (Campus Ministry, Residence Life, Student Programs, Counseling and Wellness, Campus Dining, Beacon Beanery, and Security).

Director of Esports & Athletic Event Coordinator

Under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director, coach, plan, organize, recruit for, and coordinate the Bushnell University Esports Program.

Director of Marketing & Digital Communication

Under the direction of the Vice President for Enrollment, the Director of Marketing & Digital Communication is responsible for the design, creation, coordination, development and maintenance of content for the University’s online communication and print collateral that support, promote and enhance the overall mission, brand and image of Bushnell University.

Faculty Position: Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing Program

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR invites applications for nursing faculty to teach primarily in the University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing program. This on-campus position has a negotiable start date.

Faculty Position: Assistant Professor of Computer Science

This position will work primarily with the program lead for the Computer Science, Software Engineering program under the direction of the Dean of Business, Leadership and Technology. This position may also help support business courses in the School of Business, Leadership and Technology in the areas of applied statistics, economics, data analysis and finance. This position will teach generally during the day in Bushnell’s in person undergraduate computer science courses but may also occasionally teach evening and online undergraduate business courses, as needed. Traditional Undergraduate courses are face-to-face in a 16-week semester. Evening and online courses are delivered in eight-week blocks.

Faculty Position: Assistant Professor of Marketing

The person serving in this position will teach traditional daytime undergraduate and evening/online undergraduate courses. Traditional daytime UG courses are face-to-face in a 16-week semester. Our evening/online courses are offered in eight-week blocks. The School of Business, Leadership & Technology emphasizes building a solid foundation of critical thinking and the practical application of rigorous curriculum, developed alongside industry leaders with current market demands in mind. As a member of the business faculty, the person in this role will be an integral part of the department and have the opportunity to shape the marketing program. This faculty member may also have responsibility advising upper division Business students.

Faculty Position: Assistant Professor of Music

The Assistant Professor of Music will be part of a dynamic group of staff and faculty in the School of Music & Performing Arts. The candidate should have a strong competence in music technology (live and recording), music industry, arranging and composing. A strong background in vocal music and musical theatre is preferred. This position requires administrative support to the Associate Dean and the department; accordingly, the candidate must possess a working knowledge of all office-related processes, equipment, and technology. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration with faculty and staff members, and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.

Faculty Position: Psychology

The person serving in this position will teach traditional daytime (TUG) and adult degree (Online) undergraduate courses as needed. This position may also teach courses in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) graduate program. TUG courses are face-to-face in a 16 week semester. Online and CMHC courses are offered as evening and on-line courses delivered in eight week blocks. The psychology major emphasizes building a strong foundation in psychological science with an integration of faith and learning. The normal teaching load is 24 semester credits per academic year. The person will also provide leadership to the robust psychology program. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.

Faculty Position: Teacher Education

The successful candidate for this faculty position must show commitment and demonstrable ability to be an excellent teacher. The person in this position will teach assigned courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs and will provide quality instruction in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modes of delivery. In addition, the candidate will engage in service activities related to the University and to the professional community. Grounds Manager

The Grounds Manager will have responsibility for managing and implementing all aspects of the Bushnell University grounds program. A beautiful campus is not only aesthetically satisfying but also is recognized as an essential element in outreach, recruitment and retention of staff and students at this university. It plays a significant role in marketing and branding for the institution. This position requires complex management skills, technical knowledge, physical labor, and a strong aesthetic sensibility.

Science Resource Center Manager

Manage and maintain operational readiness of Bushnell science laboratories, regulate lab safety, manage inventory on an ongoing basis, oversee budget, maintain supplies and equipment, oversee introductory labs, prepare and clean-up for Bushnell science labs. This position supports all the laboratory courses associated with the biology and kinesiology majors at Bushnell University.

Teacher Education Field Supervisor for PE, SPED, ESOL, and Elementary Practicums

The successful candidate for this position must show commitment and have experience as an excellent teacher or school counselor. The person in this position will mentor, coach and evaluate teacher candidates that are doing practicums out in schools. Bushnell Field Supervisors will also participate in informational meetings on campus approximately once a semester.
