Adjunct Instructor Pool

We are seeking both undergraduate and graduate instructors for our Adjunct Instructor Pool in the following areas:

Admission Counselor – Undergraduate

Under the direction of the Director of Undergraduate Admission, the Admissions Counselor will recruit incoming first year and transfer students, be responsible for providing information regarding the University to prospective students, travel to various cities in and outside of Oregon, make presentations to high schools and community colleges, review applications, follow up with students, select qualified applicants, and make recommendations regarding admissions and awarding of scholarships as appropriate.

Data & Reporting Specialist

The Data & Reporting Specialist is responsible for pulling data from SQL databases and other data sources for the purpose of creating reports. Working to meet the needs of multiple departments, this position will work with end users to determine report parameters and provide suggestions for where data points may be found or calculated.

Dean of Business, Leadership, and Technology

The Dean of Business, Leadership & Technology reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and supervises academic affairs within the SBLT relating to the development, implementation, and evaluative review of the curriculum and to the recruitment, orientation, support, and evaluation of departmental faculty and staff.

The Dean identifies and cultivates key external relationships in the local business community and beyond to create effective partnerships and networks. The Dean collaborates with the Dean of Admissions in student recruitment efforts and leads retention initiatives for all programs in the department (including Daytime UG, Online/Evening UG, MBA, MAL).

As time permits and in consultation with the VPAA, the Dean may carry a teaching load of up to 12 credits per academic year. The Dean serves in an entrepreneurial role in assisting the VPAA to identify, research, and develop opportunities for strategic and sustainable enrollment growth and program development, both for new and existing programs. The Dean is a member of the VPAA’s Dean’s Cabinet.

Director of Annual Giving

This position is responsible for developing and leading a strategic plan for annual giving efforts including event fundraising, alumni relations and direct solicitation.

Director of Marketing & Digital Communication

Under the direction of the Vice President for Enrollment & Student Development, the Director of Marketing & Digital Communication is responsible for the design, creation, coordination, development and maintenance of content for the University’s online communication and print collateral that support, promote and enhance the overall mission, brand and image of Bushnell University.

As an enrollment officer and member of the Enrollment & Student Development Core Leadership Team, the Director of Marketing & Digital Communication supports the Vice President for Enrollment & Student Development and the Dean of Admission with university, divisional, and departmental strategic goals in an effort to grow enrollment and better tell the Bushnell story.

Enrollment Advisor

The Enrollment Advisor for online undergraduate and graduate programs is responsible for completing the on-boarding admission process for prospective online undergraduate and graduate students from inquiry to enrollment; providing transcript/major course/program evaluation; reviewing and completing applications, following up with students, selecting qualified applicants and making recommendations regarding admission to the Dean of Admission and/or relevant graduate program chair; development of initial academic plan and course registration.

Faculty Position: Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing Program

Bushnell University’s School of Nursing, located in Eugene, OR, invites applications for 1 nurse faculty position to teach primarily in the University’s new Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing degree program.

Faculty Position: Accounting

The Accounting Faculty will teach traditional daytime (TUG), adult degree (ADP) undergraduate courses and online graduate courses as needed. TUG courses are face-to-face in a 16 week semester. ADP and graduate courses are offered as on-line courses delivered in eight week blocks.

Faculty Position: Teacher Education

The successful candidate for this faculty position must show commitment and demonstrable ability to be an excellent teacher. The person in this position will teach assigned courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs and will provide quality instruction in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modes of delivery. In addition, the candidate will engage in service activities related to the University and to the professional community. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position. Staff Accountant

Reporting to the Assistant Vice-President (AVP) for Financial Services, the Staff Accountant will provide support to various operating groups. This support will be instrumental in ensuring strong and accurate accounting records and in meeting compliance requirements. The Staff Accountant will have frequent in-person, telephone, and written contact with management and other Bushnell employees for the purpose of exchanging information, addressing procedural questions, collecting data, making recommendations, clarifying procedures, securing approvals, and problem solving.

Teacher Education Field Supervisor for PE, SPED, ESOL, and Elementary Practicums

The successful candidate for this position must show commitment and have experience as an excellent teacher or school counselor. The person in this position will mentor, coach and evaluate teacher candidates that are doing practicums out in schools. Bushnell Field Supervisors will also participate in informational meetings on campus approximately once a semester. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to support the mission of Bushnell University are paramount in this position.
