The Intramural (IM) Sports program offers opportunities for the Bushnell University community to participate in a variety of sports and activities. The IM program is designed in a manner that promotes fun, safety, fairness, and equal opportunity for all to participate. At Bushnell, intramurals provide opportunities for individual development, team participation and growth of lasting friendships, regardless of skill or ability.

Intramural teams are organized by, and comprised of, students, faculty & staff and compete against other Bushnell IM teams. IM teams typically do not have coaches or regularly scheduled practices. IMs are a “low key” way to participate in organized sports with friends, roommates and/or classmates.

Intramurals Leagues and One-Time Events

We offer one league IM sport per semester, typically volleyball and basketball, which are open to the entire Bushnell Community.

In addition, we offer several one-time events and tournaments each semester including:

  • Dodgeball
  • Video Game Tournaments
  • Billiards
  • IM Olympics
  • Cornhole
  • Ultimate frisbee
  • March Madness bracket challenge
  • Barbecues at select home soccer and softball games
  • And more!

Students can find out about upcoming IM events through our Weekly Beacon newsletter, social media, and campus calendar.  Sign up to play at https://www.imleagues.com/
