  • Nathan Griffiths gained hands-on technical experience through his fall internship with Brinoch, a company specializing in audio, video, and lighting system integration.

As a senior contemporary music industry major with an interest in live sound production, Nathan explored the setup and installation of PA (professional audio) systems by building equipment racks, soldering connections, and assisting with installation projects on job sites. His experience with Brinoch strengthened key technical skills while also teaching him the importance of preparation before installation.

For Nathan, his time with Brinoch emphasized the importance of seizing opportunities to step beyond campus and engage directly with professionals in the field. “I think it’s really great to get out of the Bushnell dome and go out into local businesses and actually start doing what you want to do in a field that’s related to what you want to do,” Nathan reflected. “It’s just good to get out and connect with people in the industry that you’re wanting to be a part of.”

Great work, Nathan! 👏
