With more than 10 years of experience in K-12 education, Rachel Meek serves as the Licensure and Field Placement Coordinator and an Instructor in Teacher Education at Bushnell University. In her role, she coordinates field placements for teacher candidates during their practicum experiences and guides students through Oregon’s educator licensure process, helping them successfully complete the requirements for state licensure. She also teaches undergraduate and graduate teacher education courses, preparing future educators with the knowledge, skills, and practical experiences needed for success in the classroom.
Rachel is passionate about supporting aspiring teachers as they develop into confident, reflective, and effective educators. She values building strong partnerships with school districts, mentor teachers, and students to create meaningful field experiences that bridge theory and practice.
Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter. Together, they love exploring the beauty of Oregon in their RV, taking every opportunity to go paddle boarding, hiking, and camping while making memories as a family.
