Adam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Azusa Pacific University. He also holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. Additional training highlights include: Level 1 Clinical Training: Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Collaborative and Proactive Solutions, EMDR and IFS therapy for Complex Trauma, and working effectively with highly anxious adolescents.  Adam is a passionate learner who is eager to find innovative ways to support counselors in best practices and professional development.

Adam comes to Bushnell after several years of group private practice in the greater Seattle area. There Adam worked with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a number of issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, premarital, sexual health, spiritual struggles, and major life transitions. He takes a special interest in the intersection of Christian spirituality, psychotherapy, and human sexuality. Adam is honored to join the CMHC team and their mission to train culturally competent mental health counselors who integrate best practices in psychotherapy to contribute to the healing and flourishing of their clients.

Adam is also the proud husband of Claire Duprez, a trained labor and delivery nurse. They currently live in Eugene where they enjoy hiking, sports, and raising their son Joel.
