Dr. Jackson teaches courses in clinical mental health counseling, assessment, theories, and internship/practicum supervision, emphasizing ethical practice and student-centered learning. Her research interests include animal-assisted counseling, trauma-informed care, military mental health, and the integration of spirituality in counseling. Outside of her faculty role, she enjoys paddleboarding, exploring the outdoors with her family, supporting dog rescue and training efforts, and staying active in her local community.
