Riki Smith teaches chronic and mental health, community health, and childbearing family clinical courses, as well as simulation-based learning experiences. With over 22 years of professional experience in obstetrics and women’s health nursing, my interests center on preparing students for excellence in clinical practice. She is deeply passionate about nursing education and the advancement of professional nursing practice, with a strong commitment to scholarship and the integration of Christian values in all aspects of my work.
From 2015-2017 Riki taught Childbearing family clinical at Pacific Union College, in Angwin, California. She was a hospital-based Obstetric clinical nurse educator from 2020 to 2024 and became an adjunct nursing faculty at Bushnell in July 2024.
