Ms. Price began her work at Bushnell in the summer of 2021. She serves as the Dean of Education and teaches a variety of courses within the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Suzanne completed her undergraduate studies at Oregon State University and received her graduate degree from the University of Phoenix. She has spent her career serving as a public-school teacher and administrator. Her extensive experience in the education field has equipped her with a breadth of knowledge and field experience from which she is able to draw and apply toward her role as Associate Dean and Assistant Professor. Ms. Price has a keen understanding of school and district operations, is well versed in best practices and is adeptly aware of the landscape new educators will be navigating when first entering the profession. Actively engaged in the education field provides her with authentic opportunities to integrate theory into practice and serves as a resource when working with university students seeking a career in education.

Ms. Price’s faith, coupled with her strengths, style and experiences, complement Bushnell’s Christian education program and support the advancement of a positive attitude and overall joy of teaching and learning to aspiring educators and school counselors. While she has enjoyed her work in K-12 public education, she looks forward to serving at the university level.
