If you have a prior bachelor’s degree, you can begin the ABSN program admissions process. To be eligible to apply, however, you must satisfy the ABSN prerequisites. All prerequisite courses should be completed at a regionally-accredited institution.

You may choose to complete prerequisite courses at Bushnell as a non-degree-seeking student.

Biology, A&P, and microbiology courses must be taken within 7 years of the program start date. Nutrition and human development must be taken within 10 years. This is measured from the calendar year that the prerequisite was taken to the calendar year that the cohort begins. For example, an applicant is applying for a cohort starting in 2023, their science prerequisites must be from 2016 or later, and their nutrition and human development prerequisites must be from 2013 or later. There is no time limit on electives courses.
