End of Year Giving:

Tax Rules for 2023

■ For tax filers who itemize, you can claim a charitable deduction for up to 50% of your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) in 2023.

■ Consider IRA distributions for those aged 70 1/2 or older (consult your tax professional for more details).

■ Gifts postmarked (or submitted electronically) by December 31 qualify.

 

Gifts post marked by December 31st or received by midnight December 31st will count for charitable giving purposes in 2023 year. Due to constraints regarding holidays all bank transfers, gifts of stock, and gifts made by phone must be made by Friday December 29th due to offices being closed for the holiday.
