What makes Bushnell’s School of Education different than the rest? Our school is training the next generation of teachers and School Counselors who are purposeful, principled and proficient. As you look over our programs, you will see our deep commitment to experiential learning through many practicums and internships in nearby schools. Through all this, our goal is for you to “learn by doing,” while also taking coursework that coincides with your practical experience.

For this reason, we train our students to think outside the box and give them tool boxes for taking a concept from ideation to realization. These are lifelong skills that differentiate our students in the school systems as they move through their careers. The secret to successful teaching and school counseling is not just in the coursework, but the combination of coursework and field experience and knowing how to solve problems no matter where God leads you.
