Welcome to the School of Arts and Sciences

The School of Arts and Sciences is an engaged and Christ-centered community of students and faculty that spans the social sciences, humanities, interdisciplinary studies, and natural sciences. We prepare students to be global citizens and servant leaders by developing the skills and knowledge base that are essential for powerful thinkers, communicators, and problem solvers: the competencies and understanding you will need to thrive in a world driven by change, and the abilities and creativity to change that world.

We invite you to study what you love, follow your curiosity, and explore new interests in transformative learning experiences with our amazing faculty. Faith and learning are unified and mutually supported in our small-classes environment, and you will have easy access to professors all the way from initial mentoring in vocational discernment to research experiences and collaboration. Whatever your choice of major, a degree in the arts and sciences, in teaching you how to learn, will stand you in good stead as your experiences and interests expand throughout life, and as you adapt to unpredictable circumstances. Are you currently considering a career in government, law, media, medicine, health care, counseling, teaching, or academia?  Are you intrigued by the idea of continuing your studies some day with an advanced degree or professional school training? We offer the academic foundation for all of these as you pursue God’s calling on your life.
